"One who does not remember lives constantly without thinking of yesterday or tomorrow, for what is memory if not proof that you once were, and now you are no longer."
(From Till it Rains Again)
I was born in Be’er Sheva, and grew up in Omer, Kibbutz Tel Yosef and Moshav Kfar Yechezkel in Jezreel Valley. For as long as I can remember, I have been wandering—remembering and forgetting, writing and erasing—trying to “hold fast to the tent pole,” but writing has always been the storm that carries me further on.
My stories have been published in literary journals and anthologies in Israel and abroad, including "Moznaim", "HaMussach", "Maggid", "Nachon", and others. I graduated with honors with a master’s degree in Creative Writing in English, but it still took quite some time before I published my debut novel, "Till it Rains Again" (2021, Shtaim Publishing), which received critical acclaim, audience appreciation, the Ministry of Culture’s Prize for a Debut Book, and has been translated into several languages.
My short story collection "All the Way from Oklahoma" (2024, Shtaim Publishing) was also met with critical praise.
Writing is both the means and the end—writing is life.
